My dream home is very big. It has three floors, and it is a building with a garden and a swimming pool. There are many kinds of flowers in the garden. They are very beautiful. There is a big kitchen and a dining room on the first floor. I can invite more than 20 friends to my home to have dinner. On the second floor. there is a computer room and a big living room. I can have a chat with my friends in the living room. It is also comfortable to watch TV in it. Of course, I will have my own bedroom. It is big and clean.

My favourite place is the balcony. I can read and chat there.

 

（二）My Neighbourhood

I live in a very nice neighbourhood. It's not very big, but it's very clean and beautiful. It's a good place to live.

There are many places for people to have fun and relax in the neighbourhood. There is a big swimming pool. I go swimming twice a week. My neighbourhood also has a basketball court. People often play basketball and have basketball matches there. There is a big supermarket too. It is easy for people to buy all kinds of things. Most of the things in the supermarket are not expensive. My neighbours are very friendly and helpful. Some of them are volunteers. They have different skills. They help people with all kinds of problems at the weekend.

I am lucky to live in a neighbourhood like this.

My hometown is Yongcheng. It is a beautiful and modern city.  There are a lot of tall buildings here. My hometown has four big shopping malls, and you can buy all kinds of things there. Most of the things are not expensive. The environment is beautiful and there is green grass and all kinds of flowers everywhere. You can also see many tall trees. There is not much air pollution here. My favourite place is Culture Square. When I am free, I often go there to have fun with my friends. People here are rich and happy.

My hometown is really a good place to live. I love my hometown very much.

It's a great pleasure to have you come to my birthday party. The party will be held at 5 o'clock on Saturday afternoon in my house. Mary, Jim and Linda will show up then. （五）The amazing world

We live in a wonderful world with a lot of amazing things. Our eyes are the same size from birth, but our nose and ears never stop growing. There are no bones in the back of elephants' feet，only fat. A black beetle（甲虫） can live for nine days without its head. After nine days it dies because it is too hungry. A giraffe can't cough and a pig can't look up at the sky. An elephant can stand after it dies. An ostrich’s （鸵鸟）eyes are bigger than its head. A snail can sleep for three years without any food. Don't you think they are amazing?

（六）A poor pig

Danny is a little pig. He is unhappy because he wants to leave home to see the world, One day, Danny went away when his parents were sleeping. On his way, he met an elephant, a peacock and a rabbit. Then he got to a lake. He looked at his reflection in the water and said, "I wish I had an elephant's nose, a peacocks tail and a rabbit's ears. "After a while, Danny's wish came true. He ran back excitedly, But his parents couldn't recognize Danny, "Go away, You're not our son. "Danny went to the lake again. "I just want to be pig. he said sadly. Danny waited and waited.

Jack is kind and helpful. He often takes part in some activities like collecting clothes and books for children in need. Last month, a 7-year-old boy lost his way, and he helped him find his home. Last weekend, he saved an old man from a fire.

We all think Jack should get the award. If Jack gets the award,  we will be very happy.

（八）My pet cat

 

I have a pet cat. Her name is Poppy. She is three years old and weighs about two kilograms. She is black, but she has white fur on her head and paws. She looks very lovely. She likes fish and warm milk best.

I often feed her at the table. She is a little lazy but very friendly. She miaows when she is hungry. She likes sleeping in the basket and on my knees. I like her very much. She likes playing with me. I will look after her well till the end.
